Although 2009 was a great year in many ways, unfortunately this last December month was also about some sad and hard decisions for me. I put on my happy face during the holidays, but I couldn't help thinking of the recent break up with my girlfriend of 3 years.
My optimism forces me to look forward to 2010, which I believe is going to be a great year. These are my resolutions I'd like to share with you.
Stay single for a while
In the past I jumped into relationships a bit to fast. I know you can't plan love, but I do plan to stay single at least until the end of 2010. This gives me the freedom to develop myself on a personal level and it gives me more time to reflect on myself.
Start a succesful business
I have to admit, this resolution has already been set into motion. This week I resigned from my current job, so now it's official. I will work at Two Kings until the 28th of february to finish my projects and I will start a business with my good friend and awesome UX designer Reinier on the 1st of March 2010.
It's an exciting step for me and I am really looking forward to it. Our business will mainly focus on front end design and prototyping. This will include everything from the first wireframe sketches to usertesting and optimizing.
We are still working on some details and of course our name, but you can expect more news on this one soon.
Write more articles on this site
I launched this site this year and next year I will write more articles on webdesign, development and maybe some personal stuff.
I hope you'll like them.
Next year will be better than the last...
This December month will have a big impact on next year, but I think 2010 is gonna be legen... wait for it....dary!
